Performance begins at 7:00pm and runs about an hour and 15 minutes. Concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for your comfort. Call (828) 295-5222 HistoryThe Monday Night Concert Series will begin its 22nd season in Blowing Rock, NC on July 11th. Concerts are held weekly, beginning July 11th and running through August 8th. The Monday Night Concert Series began as a spin off of the Farm House Inn and Restaurant that was located in Blowing Rock from the 1950's until 1997. The mission of the Monday Night Concert Series is to support rising talent and to share a variety of music with residents and visitors to the town of Blowing Rock in memory of the Farm House and its creators, EJ and Shirl Blackwell.

Featured PerformersAndy Page is a High Country favorite. He is a well known jazz musician, but will bring a flavored variety to the park.
Abby Bryant & The Echoes captures the spirit of old soul while emphasizing its youthful energy and fresh songwriting. The Asheville, NC-based band is consistently touring the Southeast to bring its fresh take on soul to a fast-growing fan base. With powerful vocals, tasty guitar licks and a groovy rhythm section, Abby Bryant & The Echoes is a must-see for all ages and musical preferences.
Strictly Clean and Decent is an acoustic trio which features Patrick Crouch, Ron Shuffler, and Kay Crouch whose blend of brilliant vocal harmonies tops a solid instrumental foundation. They are dedicated to performing a variety of musical styles in an acoustic setting. Their eclectic repertoire includes modern folk songs by American, Canadian, and Irish songwriters, the fiery breakdowns
and songs of family and home found in both traditional and contemporary bluegrass settings, and centuries-old Celtic airs and dance tunes. All of this is peppered with a healthy dose of popular jazz standards, swing and western swing music, and a few classic country tunes thrown in to provide a program to be enjoyed by all. Matt Primm studied music at both UNC Charlotte and the Hartt School. He is a talented composer, pianist, and viola player and has become a favorite in the park. Matthew is a music and drama teacher in Charlotte and music directs and accompanies for many professional theatres in the Charlotte area.
Krista Wells Atwood has been singing with the MNCS since it's beginnings in 2000. She studied music at ASU and worked at the former Farm House as a singing waitress. She is well known for performing a diverse set of music including musical theatre, country, and popular music.
Micah Hein is thrilled to be singing in the Monday Night Concert Series again this summer. Originally from Ohio, Micah has performed at various regional theatres across the midwest and south, as well as for two years in Seoul, South Korea. He is happy to now call Charlotte home and looks forward to having you "Be Our Guest" for the evening!
Alexandria McNeely is a soprano from Hickory, NC. She is a recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music. Her recent performances include, the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflote, Lilith in Our Voices, and Diana in Next to Normal. This is Alexandria's 2nd year performing for the Monday Night Concert Series. She is a member of the Hickory Choral Society, Taylor Festival Choir, and sings frequently at the Blowing Rock Methodist Church.
